Hique Gomes and Nico Nicolaiewsky still kicks ass

Last night I saw “Tangos & Tragédias”. Again. Last time I saw it I was, like, 16/17 years old. A long time ago, I would say.

The show isn’t too different from that time. They still have the same basic premisses and play the same old, classic, songs like “Ana Cristina” and “A História de Angélica”. But some things have changed: they now play “Epitáfio” instead of “Meu erro”. And, for my surprise, they played Villa Lobos’ “Trem Caipira”. It is very impressive see an opera being played with just one violin and one acordion.

In the end, they took everybody out of the theather and played some more songs in the park in the front. And it was fun.

Next year, I gonna see them again.
