Bored Like Me
Today Sony present the brazilian public with the two last episodes of “Dead Like Me”. I was not a great watcher, but I liked it anyway. It was fun, and black humour is always a gift.
But, watching the last two episodes was something like… boring. I almost decided to be dead than watch that (pun intented). I mean, it was like any other episode. Not a great history, not a great “cliff-hanger”… Damn, there wasn’t even one cliff-hanger. Boring, boring, boring. I tought they would put George, our dead heroin, on an unconfortable position, like taking one of her parents soul, or even her sister. But not. They walked throught the episode like a normal, boring day, doing boring stuff. Geez, the writers could even put her parents back together, made George decide to reincarne or something, make her mother pregnant again — with George soul! That would be a good ending.
But not, they had to put George walking away from the camera, down in a hill, saying: “It’s nice to be dead like me” (or something like that — it was so unimaginative that I forgot the line, on a record time of 20 minutes later).
