Anoter silver screen presentation of a game
When I read DeSanto Develops Heroes Film my first thought was “Oh, you mean The Series? After just one season? Remarkable!”. Then I read the text and saw that it is based on the City of Heroes game.
Now we all know that there is not a single game-to-silver-screen conversion that worked (”Mortal Kombat”? “Tomb Raider”?) but look at the premise of City of Heroes: a city with several heroes, with several different powers. There is no way to screw with this. And, if DeSantos manage to screw it, the guy surely deserves an award for it.
