Good news, bad news
Yesterday I went to the dentist, with my mind ready to have another teeth extracted. When I got there, I got good news and bad news.
The good news were: No teeth extracted.
The bad news: My X-ray:
in case you didn’t noticed yet, take a look at the right side of the picture. Yes, my wisdom teeth decided that it wanted to be in the front of the mouth, so it grew in the wrong direction. Worst: If you pay attention, you’ll see two white lines just near the root of the tooth. Those are the nerves. And, due the way the x-ray looks, it’s hard to say if it is outside or inside the tooth. So it’ll have to be surgically removed.
Not that I’m worried (or that I still want to be knock out for 4 days, so I have no idea what happened and just wake up when everything is fine) but I’m kinda worried about how much this thing will cost me.
I have the same problem, but my wisdom tooth (curiously, if I got the pic right, the very same tooth) is already *down*, and it is severely pushing the others like a domino falling.
It hurts, but I’m almost forgetting about it. Problem is, if I forget, it’ll rot inside the tissue and I’ll have to remove that piece of jaw anyway. Heh.
It’ll cost me about US$ 300. Maybe you could hang on a few months and do it back here, on a holiday?

Wait. Are you suggesting me to get a trip to Brazil instead of going somewhere here on a dentist with *two* PhDs? Are you nuts?
I would pay AU$1000 if it costs me that much and I won’t care.

uh, boa sorte. que difícil…
os meus inferiores também estão assim. e o superior que resta (um eu já extraí, o único bonzinho) está em cima do vizinho dele. a sugestão do meu dentista (que me encaminhou pra outro, que me encaminhou pra outro) é remover em uma cirurgia, também, todos duma vez. como eu não tenho dinheiro pra isso agora, vou me preocupar com isso daqui a um ano ou dois.
